About three months ago, I wondered why
the US news media was obsessing about
Iran while entirely ignoring Pakistan.
Pakistan has operable nuclear weapons...
it is the home base of both the Taliban
and al Queda... and it's run by an anti-democratic
crook whose popular support is eroding daily.
Did I mention Bush backs him all the way
and sends the country billions to support
the "War on Terror?"
Three months later, the US news media
still has not presented a coherent overview
of the situation there.
